My name is René.

My interest in street photography began during holidays. Everyday life in that "foreign" country. The people, the streets, the situations you encounter. I find those real moments much more interesting to capture and look back on later than a familiar place or building.

Photography has the power to hold onto those moments that would otherwise pass unnoticed.

This is how Your Pixel came into being. I photograph people as they are. No studio, no artificial light, but on the street in the moment itself, in natural light and in their own environment.
